Coat: |
The Border Collie has
a soft, thick undercoat. covered by a sleeker layer on top.
Regular brushing will keep the coat in good condition. Most
usual colour is black and white. Other colours are red and
white, tri-colour, black and grey and all black. White should
not be the predominant colour.

Ease of Training: |
Borders Collies are
easy to train and quickly learn new commands.

Temperament: |
Border Collies are
very intelligent energetic dogs. They are eager to work,
quick learners, lively and alert. They also have a permanent
will to please. Border collies are very good at obedience and
agility . Requiring a lot of mental stimulation, Border Collies
are happy when they have a job to do.

Exercise: |
The Border Collie
requires physical and mental activity. When exercised enough,
Border Collies should get on well with other pets and children.
If however they are not exercised enough, they may become badly
behaved and even aggressive.

Can be prone to hip
dysplasia, PRA and Collie Eye Anomaly. |
